About Us
... a little bit of Ireland in the National Capital.
The Irish Club is one of the friendliest places in Canberra to relax
with friends.
The Club was officially registered as an incorporated association in
1975 and in 1982 moved to its own premises at Oatley Court, Belconnen
ACT. It moved to its present location at 6 Parkinson Street, Weston in
1986.
The Club has just been completely refurnished and looks great. Food Service is now done in-house and we are developing a new menu. The focus will be on pub-style food with a touch of Irish from our newly named, Molly Bloom's Kitchen, though we're also taking advantage of our Chef's expertise to include some great dishes from his Fijian homeland.
Our support of local sports and recreation groups, as well as Canberra's Irish organisations, shows our commitment to the wider community and to fostering Irish culture
Once you visit you will understand why the club is so popular. Its
relaxed, welcoming atmosphere has an underlying "Irishness" which is
hard to find anywhere else.
With a membership of over 6000 and growing, the club can offer great
facilities and entertainment.
There's always something going on at the Canberra Irish Club.
Why not come and see for yourself.
