About

Cead Mile Failte - A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!

... a little bit of Ireland in the National Capital.

The Irish Club is one of the friendliest places in Canberra to relax with friends.

The Club was officially registered as an incorporated association in 1975 and in 1982 moved to its own premises at Oatley Court, Belconnen ACT. It moved to its present location at 6 Parkinson Street, Weston in 1986.

We have a terrific catering team running our food operations and they have developed some great new menus. There is a great variety of meals at terrific prices. The portions are generous and you won't go home hungry.

Our support of local sports and recreation groups, as well as Canberra's Irish organisations, shows our commitment to the wider community, while still fostering Irish culture.

Once you visit the Club you will understand why the club is so popular. Its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere has an underlying "Irishness" which is hard to find anywhere else.

With a membership of over 5,000 and growing, the club can offer great facilities and entertainment.

There's always something going on at the Canberra Irish Club.

Why not come and see for yourself.
