Why not investigate the free Irish language classes on Tuesday
evenings and Saturday mornings at the
Cluborganised by the Canberra Irish Language
Association (CILA). Classes are available for those new
to the language and for more experienced students. Experienced
Irish speakers lead the classes and text books
and CD's are often available at discounted
prices. Students must be members of the
Irish Club and CILA.
( There is a growing interest in Irish, so new volunteer teachers /
helpers are always welcome. You do not need to be a trained teacher of
Irish. Just enjoy sharing the language with very keen students! )
