Irish Club Golf Clan
The Golf Clan was formed in the early 90's by some members to expand their normal club activities to the golf course. These members were AGU handicapped golfers from the districts plethora of golf clubs. Among the initial goals was the aim to introduce other club members to golf. This initiative unfortunately was less than successful due to the scarcity of tee times available from golf clubs for social players. However when the opportunity arises such days are organised and are accessible from the Club's notice board.
Members of the Clan also arrange teams to represent the Club at the Ireland Cup and the various Charity Days that expect support from Canberra Clubs. Clan members organise golfing trips to various golf resorts from time to time.
In the coming months we hope to organise some outings - so keep an eye on the notice board, as invariably the number of spots are limited.
